We at the Seaside Inn are dedicated to protecting the enviroment and the beautiful landscape surrounding this area.

Huge amounts of laundry detergent containing chemicals that are harmful to the eviroment are needed to clean all the inn’s towels, sheets and pillow case. Therefore, to lower the amount of detergent used, the management has sheets, pillow cases and towels in occupied rooms changed every third day. This means that we only wash items two or three times a week at the most. If you would like towels or bedding changed sooner, please phone the front desk simply by dialling 09 or the telephone in your room.

Lately, many guests have been leaving used towels on the floor in the shower. This indicates to our housekeeping staff that you would like the towel washed. To save the water, we kindly ask that you hang towels that you intend to reuse on the towel rack located just outside the shower. The inn keeps a supply of fresh towels available for anyone requesting one. If you would like a fresh one, please mention it to any of our housekeeping staff while they are working; between 8:00 A.M and 2:00 P.M every day including Sunday. You will recognize them by the blue name tags that they wear.

Luscious to Open First Foreign Factory

Daniel Langlais, founder and president of Luscious Chocolate, met with other executives at Luscious headquarters yesterday to discuss opening the company’s very first factory abroad. With six factories throghout England, Langlais feels it is time to expand beyond national borders.

During the meeting, Vice-President Mireia Vidosa suggested a Paris location. “That would be the best place to start simply because France has been our biggest market in Europe for almost a decade. Almost 30% of our international sales are in France.”

Other attendees argued that it would be more profitable to build in the United States as the populations of cities like New York and Los Angeles could easily sustain a chocolate company.

This meeting is just one of the countless others on the issue that have been held since September 10 of last year. Langlais has set April 20 as the deadline for reaching a general consensus among all the executives. In the press conference held at the company headquarters on Grover Road in London, the company’s president said that deciding on the location is only the first step, and it could take a year or more before Luscious actually has a foreign company. “There will be hundreds of meetings on this before the grand opening.
